About Us

Welcome to Saraswati Vidya Mandir

About 35 years ago, a group of intellectuals came together with a vision for education. Recognizing its long-term societal impact, they established Saraswati Vidya Mandir, a small primary school in Raj Nagar, Ghaziabad. Over time, it evolved into a full-fledged senior secondary school affiliated with CBSE New Delhi, currently serving over 1200 students. The entire facility has been maintained majorly through donations from the community and local residents. The School was rechristened as “Kusum Goel Dr Santosh Saraswati Vidya  Mandir” in view of the significant contributions made by the two dignitaries (Late) Ms. Kusum Goel and her Sister Dr. Santosh Jain for the development of the school.

Our society was originally registered with the Registrar of Societies, U.P. under reference no. 225 dated June 7, 2006. The registration remains active, with the last update under reference no. R/GHA/06205/2021-22. Our school operates under the umbrella of Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan, a national organization overseeing more than 13,000 schools. These schools provide education rooted in Indian values to approximately 35 Lakhs students

UPGRADATION OF SUPPORT SYSTEM IN TEACHING

• The School provides wi-fi routers in its premises which enables teachers to conduct classes from their classrooms, creating a comfortable learning environment with whiteboards in the background. With these modest facilities, we were able to sustain education and maintain interaction with the children even during the lockdown.

• The school believes in regular capacity building and upgradation of skills in its faculty members. Therefore we organise multiple training programs for teachers to keep them updated with latest teaching techniques, technology and curriculum.

FUTURE PLAN FOR NEXT TWO YEARS

Establishment of AtalTinkering lab

We are planning to install an Atal Tinkering Lab at our school. Through this initiative, students will be able to learn the latest STEM skills by engaging in robotics projects, operating and experimenting with drones, and exploring astronomy using advanced technology and equipment.

Implementation Of New Education Policy (NEP)

According to the New Education Policy, children are expected to engage more in practical hands-on learning and less in traditional book learning. On these lines and to provide more vocational schools to our students, we intend to set up various types of labs in schools, such as:

- Multimedia and Animation

- Automotive

- Health care

- Banking, insurance and introduction to financial markets
